Based on the hit west end musical 'Mary Poppins'. A 5 day workshop focused on ballet, tap, contemporary dance, musical theatre, jazz, arts and crafts, drama and stagework.
This was the first year we introduced tap and the children coped with it brilliantly.
During the arts and crafts sessions we painted our own scenery, a London skyline, and our own props: kites for the song 'Let's go fly a kite', and blossom trees for the street where the Banks family live. We also created chalk drawings for the street.
